Ham Radio expedition to Palagruža Island (EU-090)9A8DXG will be QRV from 28.05. until 04.06.2016
After some testing, we were able to connect to the internet for the first time. Currently we have 586 QSOs in the log. Sadly, internet connection is not stable enough for real time log. We are trying to optimize this process. Maybe we can enable real time logbook in a few hours.
Weather is very nice - it's dry and not too warm. We set up our SP7IDX Hexbeam, a 40m Delta Loop, a dipole and our 2m antennas for EME operation.
We will set up more antennas eventually.

After one hour of carrying our material from our cars to the boat, we are now on our ride to Palagruza. I am not sure if our APRS packets are heard. We will reach our target approximately at 10.00 UTC.
It is about 20C with low wind. Ideal conditions for us.
Right now we fetched Manfred in Röthenbach, Nuremberg and completed our team. We are now heading for the city of Split in Croatia with two fully loaded cars and one roof rack. Let's hope we will not run into any major traffic jams and arrive in time for our ferry.
We will listen on 40m around 7100 kHz +/- and maybe call CQ eventually.
Stay tuned.Time went by quicker than expected. After weeks of planning, the German team members will start at Thursday 26.05., 16:00 UTC from Coburg. Hopefully, we will arrive in Split the next day early enough to catch the Ferry to Korčula at 08:30 UTC and meet the Croatian team members. The ferry will arrive in Korčula about three hours later. On Saturday, 28.05 at 04:00 UTC we will take a chartered boat to our destination: The island of Palagruža in the midst of the Adrian Sea.
